After excelling in the financial world working for Cantor Fitzgerald in New York City for almost three years, Caitlin has returned to the south to be the Hospitality Coordinator at The Cedar Room. An integral part of the opening team, Caitlin brings her outgoing personality and love for events into her new role. With event, catering and restaurant experience under her belt, Caitlin specifically manages the menu coordination with Chef Tim Morton of Mercantile and Mash, and on-site event management during the event and behind the scenes.
Caitlin graduated from The College of Charleston in 2011 with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and a concentration in Media Studies. During college, she interned for Designers Management Agency, Conde Nast and Glamour Magazine in the corporate communications and event departments. While at Glamour, Caitlin found her passion in event planning where she most notably contributed to Glamour’s Women of the Year award show at the Museum of Modern Art. During her early college years, Caitlin worked at O-Ku as a hostess and server where she gained relevant customer service experience that she carries in her new position.
Moving back below the Mason-Dixon Line, Caitlin is thrilled to return to Charleston and be a part of the Indigo Road Restaurant Group again with high hopes for The Cedar Room’s bright and busy future. Outside of The Cigar Factory, you can find Caitlin strolling around the Holy City exploring and tasting all the wonderful restaurants the Low Country has to offer.
